This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) forms part of the OmevAI Terms of Service and applies to every account, authorised user, API key, integration, input and output.
1. General rule
Use the Service only for lawful business or professional purposes and in a manner that does not harm people, property, networks, OmevAI, its providers or other customers.
You are responsible for your Customer Content, instructions, downstream products and publications, and the conduct of people and systems using your credentials.
2. Illegal, harmful and abusive activity
You must not use the Service to:
- violate law, regulation, court order, sanctions or another person's rights;
- facilitate fraud, theft, deception, extortion, evasion or other unlawful conduct;
- create, distribute or assist malware, destructive code, credential theft, phishing or unauthorised intrusion;
- exploit or endanger children;
- threaten, harass, stalk or unlawfully discriminate against a person;
- generate or distribute unlawful sexual content or non-consensual intimate material;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent the source of automated content in a materially deceptive way;
- facilitate spam, unlawful direct marketing, coordinated inauthentic behaviour or manipulation; or
- knowingly publish fabricated citations, reviews, endorsements or factual claims as verified truth.
3. Personal data and sensitive material
Self-service Customer Content must contain no personal data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Enterprise personal-data use is permitted only after manual approval and execution of an NDA and DPA. Even then, identifiable sensitive/high-risk data remains prohibited as specified in the AI and Customer Content Terms.
Do not attempt to identify or re-identify a person from anonymous, aggregate, pseudonymised or otherwise protected information.
4. Credentials and payment data
Never submit real payment credentials, passwords, API keys, access or session tokens, private keys, recovery codes or comparable secrets. This applies to both personal and corporate credentials.
Do not test whether a credential works, initiate a transaction or access an account unless you have explicit authority and the activity is otherwise permitted by these Terms.
5. High-impact decisions and regulated advice
Do not use the Service as the sole or determinative basis for a decision about a person's:
- medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency care;
- credit, lending, insurance or financial eligibility;
- employment, worker evaluation or access to work;
- housing, education admission or essential services;
- legal rights, sentencing, law enforcement or migration status; or
- biometric identity or categorisation.
The Service may assist with general informational or editorial content about a regulated field when the content complies with the personal-data rules, is reviewed by an appropriately qualified person where necessary, and is not represented as individual professional advice.
6. AI transparency
Where law requires it, you must clearly disclose that a person is interacting with an AI system or that content was generated or materially manipulated by AI. This may apply in particular to synthetic audio, image or video, impersonation/deepfake content, and text published to inform the public on matters of public interest.
Do not remove or disable machine-readable marks, metadata or disclosures that OmevAI includes to identify AI-generated or manipulated content, except where law expressly permits it. An Authorised Integration Partner must preserve required notices and technical markers when displaying or passing through an output.
Human review does not automatically remove a disclosure obligation. You are responsible for determining and documenting any legal exception on which you rely.
7. Intellectual property and confidentiality
Do not submit or use material in a way that infringes copyright, trademark, database rights, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, trade-secret or contractual rights.
Scraping or processing publicly accessible material is not automatically lawful. You must evaluate applicable licences, website terms, access controls and legal restrictions.
Do not use the Service to reconstruct protected datasets, non-public model weights, system prompts, routing logic or another customer's content.
8. Service and security integrity
You must not:
- probe, scan or test a vulnerability without prior written permission;
- bypass authentication, entitlement, metering, rate limits, safety controls or geographic restrictions;
- interfere with availability or impose an unreasonable load;
- use automated account or key creation to evade controls;
- share one key among unrelated customers except through an expressly authorised architecture;
- conceal or falsify request origin, account, entitlement or integration attribution;
- access another tenant, organisation or project without authorisation; or
- reverse engineer or systematically extract the Service to create a competing model-routing or inference service.
Reasonable load tests require advance written approval.
9. Agency and integration use
An agency may use its account and API within its own workflow to serve its clients and may provide outputs as part of its services, subject to all Customer Content restrictions.
An Authorised Integration Partner may facilitate direct customer acquisition and may store and use a customer-specific key at that customer's direction. The partner may not fabricate acceptance, reuse one customer's key for another, alter partner attribution, disclose the key, or obtain Customer Content beyond what the customer sends through the partner interface.
No person may resell credits, subscriptions or standalone access while representing OmevAI as its own service unless OmevAI has expressly enabled that arrangement.
10. Monitoring and enforcement
OmevAI may use automated and human measures to detect abuse and protect the Service. OmevAI may rate-limit, reject, quarantine or remove content; rotate or revoke credentials; suspend or terminate access; preserve evidence; and make legally required reports.
Where appropriate, OmevAI will consider severity, intent, recurrence, impact and the possibility of cure. Immediate action may be taken for an active security threat, unlawful activity, prohibited data, fraud or material harm.
Attempts to evade enforcement are a separate violation.
11. Reporting
Report suspected violations or compromised credentials promptly to [email protected]. Do not include the actual secret or prohibited data in the report; provide a masked identifier and a safe description.
12. Changes
OmevAI may update this AUP under the change procedure in the Terms. Materially adverse changes affecting an active paid subscription will receive notice as described there.
