Nearly all of your monthly volume is template work — the same shape, the same prompt, a different row — and all of it is billed at the rate you pay for the pages that genuinely needed judgement. Hold last month's generation line against the numbers below: the same token volume on a rate card built for repetition, then validate the output on your own benchmark.
OmevAI is not a router or a marketplace. Lite and Pro are two models we fine-tuned and serve on our own GPUs, which is why what you pay is a rate rather than a margin on someone else's rate.
On the same 1,000-input / 1,500-output page profile, 40,000 pages price at $81 on OmevAI Lite versus $340 on Claude Haiku 4.5—$259 kept each month, or 76% off the routed token bill.
What a month of published pages costs
One number, and it is one you already know: how many pages you publish a month. The default assumes a page of about a thousand words with its title, meta description and anchors — if yours run to two thousand, double it. Then price the same month on OmevAI Lite against whatever your pipeline runs today.

These are editable assumptions, not measurements. Both sides use published standard rates before retries, caching, Batch pricing, cache-write charges or long-context uplifts. The default uses Claude Haiku 4.5, a current economy-tier model; choose the model your pipeline actually runs and validate the migration on your own prompts.

Your strategy, templates and review gates stay exactly where they are. Only the repeatable generation route moves—the fastest path to lower unit cost without rebuilding the content operation.
Keep on your current provider
- Site architecture and the decision about which pages should exist at all.
- Named-author, flagship and regulated copy, where a wrong sentence costs more than a rewrite.
- The templates and prompts themselves — get them right once on the best model you can buy.
- Original research and the pieces your competitors cannot template.
Route to OmevAI
- Page and article bodies built from an approved template.
- Titles, meta descriptions and repeating blocks regenerated when a feed or location changes.
- Anchor text and link copy across large internal-link programmes.
- Index refreshes, keyword classification and clustering at catalogue scale.
What to route here.
High volume, well specified, repeated every day. Each one is tagged with the OmevAI product it belongs on.
Article and landing-page bodies
OmevAI LiteOne approved template, run across a different data row thousands of times. Ten thousand finished pages are $20.25 here, $40.50 on Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite and $85 on Claude Haiku 4.5.
The quarterly refresh
OmevAI LiteA pass over a 100,000-page index is $202.50 here versus $405 on Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite and $850 on Claude Haiku 4.5. Move the repeatable refresh and keep the editorial gate unchanged.
Keyword classification and clustering
OmevAI LiteA full pass over 200,000 keywords on the stated 60-input / 15-output profile is $5.55 here versus $27 on Claude Haiku 4.5—about 79% less for the same token volume.
Briefs and outlines
OmevAI ProThis work genuinely reasons across competitors and constraints, so it belongs on OmevAI Pro — or stays on the frontier model you already trust. It is not a Lite workload.
What this looks like in production.

40,000 pages a month
Worked example, not a customer. A programmatic SEO tool publishes 40,000 pages a month from a template its team wrote once on a frontier model and signed off months ago. On the calculator's default assumption for a whole published page — body, title, meta description and anchors — that month is $81 on OmevAI Lite.
The same token volume is $162 on Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite and $340 on Claude Haiku 4.5. Moving this workload to OmevAI keeps $81 to $259 a month before any difference in retries or editorial cleanup.
The refresh you keep postponing
Worked example: a content platform has 250,000 URLs indexed and refreshes the title, meta description and internal anchors on each of them whenever the query set shifts. At 600 input and 120 output tokens per URL, a full pass is $60 on OmevAI Lite, $66 on GPT-5.6 Luna and $300 on Claude Haiku 4.5. Run quarterly, that is $240, $264 and $1,200 a year.
The refresh stops being a budget decision: a pass over the whole index now costs less than a pass over its top slice did, so it moves from once a year to quarterly without a new line in the plan.

What our customers say.
“AI generation can get expensive pretty quickly. So around six months ago, we added Omev AI to a few parts of our infrastructure in Outrank. The results have been on par with the leading models we use, while helping us reduce generation costs. We keep the same quality bar, but the economics are simply better. We still use different models for different parts of the product, and Omev AI is now one of them.”

“I wanted to test omev.be as part of the AI/SEO workflow rather than just playing with it in a chat interface. What I liked was that it’s actually exposed as an OpenAI-compatible API, so integrating it into an existing application was straightforward. I’m still early enough that I wouldn’t claim any SEO/business results yet, but from a developer perspective the experience was surprisingly frictionless. The fact that the output is designed around specific SEO tasks rather than generic AI responses makes the integration more practical.”

How much has to change.
Change the destination only for the work you choose to move. Your prompts, output format, review step, CMS and current provider all stay in place.
Start with one low-risk job and keep the current provider as the fallback. If the output does not hold up, switch that job back. Budget a day of engineering plus your own review cycle.

Pay as you go against a balance you top up from $10, not a monthly commitment and not a seat. The only other plan is Enterprise, which is a signed contract rather than a bigger tier you can buy on the site.

What we can actually prove.
Every claim below is either arithmetic on published rate cards or a fact you can check. We do not publish quality benchmarks we ran on ourselves — we run yours instead.
Move 40,000 published pages from Claude Haiku 4.5 to OmevAI Lite and the list-price token bill falls from $340 to $81.
How this is supported
At the calculator's 1,000-input / 1,500-output profile, the month uses 40M input and 60M output tokens. OmevAI Lite: 40 × $0.15 + 60 × $1.25 = $81. Claude Haiku 4.5: 40 × $1 + 60 × $5 = $340. That is $259 kept each month, or $3,108 a year, at standard rates checked 15 September 2026; no caching, Batch pricing, long-context uplift or retries are included.
Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite costs exactly twice OmevAI Lite, on input and on output.
How this is supported
$0.30 input / $2.50 output against $0.15 / $1.25 per 1M tokens, from Google's current standard pricing checked 15 September 2026. The ratio is 2× on both legs, so it does not depend on an assumed token mix.
For 3,000 richer briefs, the same token profile is $71.25 on OmevAI Pro, $198 on GPT-5.6 Terra and $183 on Claude Sonnet 5.
How this is supported
At 18,000 input and 2,500 output tokens per brief, the month uses 54M input and 7.5M output. OmevAI Pro: 54 × $0.625 + 7.5 × $5 = $71.25. GPT-5.6 Terra: 54 × $2 + 7.5 × $12 = $198. Claude Sonnet 5: 54 × $2 + 7.5 × $10 = $183. This is price arithmetic only, not an output-equivalence claim.
The $5 signup credit covers roughly 2,400 pages, and the binding limit is the ten days rather than the money.
How this is supported
At the same page profile, OmevAI Lite costs $0.002025 a page, so $5 buys about 2,469 of them — roughly 250 a day if you mean to spend the credit before it expires. No card at signup, so nothing renews into a bill when it runs out.
Questions before you route anything.
What does it cost us to find out?
$5 of credit at signup, no card, valid ten days — roughly 2,400 pages, which is enough to run a real slice of your own catalogue and put the output beside what you generate today. If you would rather not wire anything up first, send 20 to 50 anonymised production prompts — titles, metas, briefs, whole article bodies — and we will run them through OmevAI Lite and Pro and hand back the raw outputs, so your editors can grade them blind against your current model. Those prompts are Customer Content like any other request and help train our models, so send anonymised ones with no personal data in them. Either way it costs an afternoon, not a quarter.
How much of our pipeline has to change?
One configuration change, on one job. The best first candidate is usually metadata or anchor text: high volume, tightly specified and easy for an editor to grade quickly. Leave briefs and flagship pages exactly where they run now, and every call you do not route keeps hitting the provider you use today.
What breaks if we are wrong?
Reverting the route is a config value. Reverting a published page is not. So generate with both providers for a week and publish nothing until you have compared them. Keep your current provider wired as the fallback for the one job you moved, and your existing retry and quality checks still stand in front of the CMS, because only the destination changed. What you are risking is a week of engineering time, not your index.
What happens to our content, and to our clients'?
We train on every request, and there is no opt-out on self-serve. That mandatory training loop is part of why the rates look the way they do, so check it first rather than last. Self-serve content must contain no personal data, raw content is kept no more than 24 months and is then deleted or irreversibly anonymised, and the Terms, Privacy Policy, DPA, Acceptable Use Policy and subprocessor list are all published for your reviewer to read rather than take on trust. If a client contract bars you from sending their content to a training-enabled endpoint, that conversation comes before the pricing one — and if it cannot be resolved, we are the wrong supplier and better known now.
What do you actually promise?
Less than you may be used to, and we would rather say it on the page than in a procurement call. No SOC 2, no ISO 27001, no contractual SLA. We publish no uptime, latency or throughput figure and will not invent one. Enterprise sets limits by contract; on Pay as you go there is nothing to buy priority with. Run a real batch on the free credit and decide from what you measure, not from what we claim.
Is the output good enough to publish?
We publish no benchmark score and claim no parity with anyone: a score on someone else's prompts tells you nothing about yours. The claim is narrower than that. On well-specified, repetitive work built from a template you already validated, the two numbers that decide the real cost are how often the first pass comes back usable and how much of it survives editing, and both are measurable on your own prompts in a day. Set a pass mark per job, and leave anything that misses it on the model you run today. Cheaper generation does not change the editorial questions either — topic selection, internal linking and whether the page answers the query are still yours, and where the law requires you to disclose that content is AI-generated, that duty stays with the publisher.
What are we committing to, and how do we get out?
On self-serve, there is no contract, seat or monthly plan. Top up from $10, move one low-risk job and keep the current provider connected while you validate it. Paid credit is valid 30 days from activation, and there is nothing to cancel: stop routing traffic and spend stops. Enterprise is a signed arrangement with custom limits and a manual approval step. The migration case grows with volume, so start with the workflow that repeats most and let the measured cost per approved page decide how much more to move.
